We Fix Space Junk, S03E07 – A View Of A Kill. I loved the twists in this episode, and how it incorporated the storyline that’s been developing in the post-credits scenes. Oh, and Jault is absolutely a himbo.
The Amelia Project, Episode 27 – Inmate 10642. Oh, the different versions of the theme music are so great, aren’t they? The interviewer is in prison and still scheming – it’ll clearly take more than him disappearing for that to change! I also loved the language learning Amelia style.
Circles, Episode 2 – Suzie. Well, well, well, I wasn’t expecting that! I’m really excited to see where the story goes next!
Null/Void, 113. The big series finale! There were some some heartbreaking moments along the way, and at one point my jaw actually dropped. It was such a satisfying ending to the story.
Vega: A Sci-Fi Adventure Podcast!, Episode 12 – The One with The Prophecy. It’s the penultimate episode of the season, and we’re left in a really interesting place for the season finale. I’m really excited to see how it’s going to wrap up after this rollercoaster of a season!
Disenchanted, Episode 15 – Finale. It was also the series finale for Disenchanted this week, which provided the explanation behind all the strange things that have been happening in Lyra’s house, and a satisfying end to the story.
The Magnus Archives, MAG 183 – Monument. Those non-statement moments can really get you, huh? Those awkward silences in Jon and Martin’s conversation at the beginning of the episode were heartbreaking.
Paired, S2E3 – Return to Mrs. Hopp’s Phone. Paired is always so great to listen to if you’re feeling down, and it never fails to make me laugh. This week Pairy helps out with family dynamics.
Solutions to Problems, Mini Ep. 12 – The Groupchat/Crazy Zifle’s. A minisode expanding on some of the personal issues both Janet and Loaf are in the middle of. There were four Janets, and I love and how they’re distinct from each other in audio.
Station Arcadia, 4. The City of Sinclair. We’re introduced to the fourth and final society, through the steampunk city of Sinclair. We follow two workers during their day, a courier delivering mail, and an exhausted factory worker skipping work.
The Way We Haunt Now, Episode Two – The Poem. Eulalie comes to the realisation that she is definitely haunted, and we get some more details about how hauntings actually work, from someone who really knows.
Debuts
We Know None (Disclaimer: I play Helen) is a new podcast from Calliopic Productions (Voidless), and set in South Wales. Gwen investigates the disappearance of her girlfriend Frankie, though recordings she’d done for her job – investigating paranormal activity for her newspaper column.
Trailers and Prologues
Moonbase Theta, Out (Disclaimer: I play Reception Bot in season three) released a preview of the three prologue minisodes which will lead up to season three. The prologues start on October 25th, releasing weekly.
Death by Dying released a trailer for their third Tales from Crestfall episode, which will be released on October 27th. Just in time for Halloween!
Unwell released a trailer for their third season, which will be released on February 17th.
Return
The White Vault returned for their fourth season. A team returns to Base Camp Piedra, the setting of season three, in the hope of rescuing survivors.
Dining in The Void returned for their second season. After the bonus episodes which have been released in the run up to this new season, we are right back where we left at the end of season one. There are some big revelations, including the identity of the Host.
New Listens
Lost Terminal debuted in July, but has already released its first season of ten episodes. Seth is a lonely satellite trying to contact Earth, trying to make sense of what they discover, and why nobody on Earth is responding.
Casting Calls
Cherrin City Soundbytes is an upcoming anthology series about the world’s most prominent city of superheroes, and is currently casting. Deadline October 31st.
